José Ángel Ferreira, administrative vice-rector of the University of Carabobo, denounced that the government of Nicolás Maduro intends to pay the vacation bonus in installments. In at least 10 parts. The teacher considers that the subdivision constitutes a new attack against the workers, which in recent months they have protested almost daily.

Ferreira, who questioned the actions of the Ministry of University Education, indicated that on August 3 an agreement was signed that establishes that the payment of the vacation bonus will be paid as follows: 10 days in the first fortnight of August, 10 days in September , 10 days in October and the 75 days between January and July of next year, reviewed The Carabobo.

Universities must charge the system the payment corresponding to the first 10 days or, otherwise, none of the other parts will be guaranteed in which the benefit is divided, warned Ferreira. “Therefore, that first fraction will be taken as an advance of the total amount owed,” he said.
