Two people have been seriously injured.one of them is in critical condition, after suffering gunshot wounds in the middle of the street in the town of Ciempozuelos.
The events have occurred around 1:00 p.m. in the vicinity of the local Institute Avenue, as reported to Europe Press a spokesman for Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.
Consequently, a 40-year-old man has suffered four gunshot wounds, two of them in the thorax and the other two in the neck. After being treated at the scene by paramedics from Summa-112, he was evacuated by helicopter to the October 12 Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition.
Also, another 25-year-old man had a gunshot wound to the left upper limb. He has also been transferred to the aforementioned hospital and, in this case, his prognosis is very serious.
The place has been attended by troops of the Civil Guard, which has taken charge of the investigation of the factsin addition to agents of the Ciempozuelos Local Police.
According to the first indications gathered in the place, the alleged perpetrators would be two people who have arrived at the scene on a motorcycle, both with helmets onand after firing the shots, they have left the place.
Workers from nearby businesses they are shocked for what happened. The owner of a food establishment very close to the place where the shooting took place has told 20 minutes that he has heard up to four shots and that he has approached to see what was happening. There, a few meters from his store, he had found a bleeding man lying on the road.
“Everything is fenced and the Civil Guard and the Police are here. Apparently they have been two shooters against two other people. It’s horrible, it’s like a movie, it doesn’t seem real, ”she has declared. In another nearby business they have located the event between Avenida del Instituto and Calle de las Estrellas. “We have found out from the clients because a very big stir has been formed. They seem to be talking about a reckoning”, explained, still impressed, one of the employees.
The sound of gunshots has reached other streets in the area, an employee of a nearby bar has heard gunshots and has seen a lot of movement on the street. “I have heard several shots far away and the whole world is in an uproar. Have been very tense momentsWe didn’t understand what was happening,” he said.
