The Public Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Crimes of Corruption requested the initiation of an investigation against Wendy Irigoin Peralta, daughter of the escort of President Pedro Castillo, for the alleged crime of incompatible negotiation to the detriment of the State.
According to the State supplier portal, Wendy Irigoin billed the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) for an amount that exceeds S/ 88,000 soles during the management of the former minister and now a fugitive from justice, Juan Silva.
One of the first bills he billed was for the concept of service for the analysis and design of electronic forms of the system, for which he charged S/ 20,000 in May of this year. Likewise, it registers other contracts for the amounts of S/ 20,000 soles, S/ 10,000, S/ 17,000 and S/ 4,250, since October 2021.

The anti-corruption prosecutor Javier Pacheco confirmed that these orders would have been granted in the MTC in the period that Juan Silva was minister. Through a statement, they maintain that the beginning of the procedure is based on journalistic reports, which account for the alleged irregularities in six service orders for a period of eight months in favor of Wendy Irigoin Peralta.
