Punctures Popular Party

The PP has registered a battery of proposals in which it asks the Government a police reinforcement at parties to avoid punctures with syringes and demands the appearances of the Ministers of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and Equality, Irene Montero, to report on the complaints filed.

The popular warn that the “surge of cases of aggressions carried out by means of punctures with syringes to girls and young people in discos, parties and places of leisure” is generating “a climate of social alarm and widespread concern”.

To tackle it, they have presented a non-law proposal in which they urge the Government to draw up an action plan against punctures as soon as possible, which includes a single health and police protocol for detection and intervention in the event of suspicion of chemical submission and in any type of complaint of having suffered this type of aggression in a nightlife or party venue.

The proposal also calls for the Executive to reinforce citizen security at parties where crowds are expected, as well as the launch of an awareness campaign to “provide information on the steps to follow in the event of a puncturebut also so that possible aggressors desist from their actions through information on the punishment for this type of crime”.

Likewise, it urges the Ministry of Equality to collect all possible information on these cases, their incidence throughout the territory, their characteristics, the way the aggressors act and the typology of the victims, with the aim of “correctly” preventing new aggressions and typifying them. .

“East new phenomenon of violence against women It requires a determined intervention of the ministries with competences, such as Equality, Health and the Interior”, emphasizes the PP.
