“Our scale of values ​​and principles regarding politics is not only far from the previous government, but also compared to a generation that preceded us,” said the former RD deputy in a Twitch program.

These words aroused criticism in the PS and PPD, whose members they accused “unfortunate arrogance” and “unacceptable moral superiority” on the part of the Secretary of State.

After an activity in the framework of the Chile Supports Plan, Boric assured that “We as a generation, because it is true that we are young, we have a duty to learn from history.”

“Those who preceded us in the fight, in the work that I have to do today, but also in other ministries, had great successes and also made mistakes. We have to learn from both and we have to do it with great humility, because nobody here is born knowing,” he added.

On the other hand, he stated that Minister Jackson “has my support and backing”. Along these lines, he recognized that “I am constantly evaluating our cabinet and all the people with whom we work.”


Boric for the role of Minister Jackson in the face of the plebiscite

On another topic, the President referred to the role of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency regarding the proposal for a new Constitution.
