WYCKOFF, NJ — A Wyckoff State Farm agent recently presented a local nonprofit that offers support services to domestic abuse victims with a $10,000 grant, as part of the insurance company’s community engagement program.
Recognized for her community support and volunteerism, Tammy Felton was chosen as one of 100 agents, among the company’s 19,000 from across the country, to select a nonprofit for the grant. She selected Never Alone Again Resource Center in Teaneck as the grant recipient.
“Thank you to State Farm and Tammy Felton,” Theresa Johnston, Never Alone Again founder, said. “Together, we are saving lives and helping families feel safe and know they are not alone.”
“It’s a great honor to be recognized for something I love doing; supporting local communities,” says Tammy. “I’m thrilled the State Farm funding can support Never Alone Again.”
Felton has a “strong history” of demonstrating what it means to be a good neighbor, the company said.
“For me, it’s not enough to simply say I’m a good neighbor,” Felton added, “but I also embrace the responsibility to make Bergen County better by being a part of a solution.”
