RESTON, Va. — Completed a full integration between the Trucker Tools software platform and Banyan Technology’s LIVE Connect software platform.

Cleveland-based Banyan Technology’s LIVE Connect software includes truckload, less-than-truckload, local carrier and parcel capabilities, according to a press release.

“We are excited about our new partnership with Banyan Technology and the benefits it will bring to our third-party freight broker and logistics provider customers,” said Kary Jablonski, CEO of Trucker Tools. “With this integration, Banyan LIVE Connect users can take advantage of Trucker Tools automated booking technology, load matching and shipment visibility to drive greater efficiencies and reduce costs at a time when operating expenses for transport companies are at their highest point”.

The partnership integrates Banyan Technology and Trucker Tools through an API connection to give LIVE Connect users the ability to post loads and accept offers from carriers in Trucker Tools’ network of nearly 2.5 million drivers and 250,000 carriers, according to the Press release.

The integration also allows LIVE Connect users to retrieve shipment details, tracking updates and uploaded documents from Trucker Tools through the LIVE Connect user interface.

“We are pleased to announce our latest integration with Trucker Tools to further enhance our truckload capabilities and complement our commitment to all modes of trucking,” said Brian Smith, CEO of Banyan Technology. “The Trucker Tools integration provides a clear path for our customers and partners to access the truckload spot market and further simplify their shipping processes for all modes of trucking, including truckload, LTL, local carrier and parcels”.

Jablonski added that the two organizations share a mission to help brokers harness real-time data to make better business decisions while building long-lasting and productive relationships with independent owner-operators and carriers of all sizes.

The Trucker Tools mobile driver app is available for Android and Apple smartphones and is provided free of charge to independent truckers and small fleets.

Trucker Tools’ comprehensive Smart Capacity software platform provides predictive load matching, automated booking, automated GPS-based tracking and digital document management to over 350 freight forwarders and 3PLs.
