3:00 a.m. – A caller from Sutton Way was crying and saying he had done it wrong. The person he called said that someone was trying to blackmail him and he didn’t know what to do. The caller reported that he was scammed by a woman on a dating app.
11:19 a.m. – A caller from West McKnight Way reported that a subject stole two bottles of tequila and when he returned for a third, he pushed the caller as he was leaving.
13:34 – A caller from Dorsey Drive reported that some passersby set up camp in the laundry room and disabled the cameras. The caller said she tried to contact them, but they went into the bushes. The caller believed they were trying to get into something.
15:45 – A caller from a business on East Main Street reported that a customer walked out without paying the bill.
16:16 – A caller from South Auburn Street reported that a male subject was intoxicated and urinated on his door.
18:28 – A caller from Joerschke Drive reported that his neighbor was beating his nephew with a bat. An additional call reported the same.
20:11 – A caller from Sierra College Drive asked for advice on how to get his girlfriend to worry about paying attention to her car’s mileage when she drives it so she doesn’t run out of gas.
20:28 — A caller from Ocean Avenue reported hearing two or three shots in the area. An additional call reported the same.
23:42 – A caller from the Success Mine Loop reported that it sounds like someone outside is trying to break in. It sounded like someone was banging on the roof or pulling parts out of the house.

15:02 – A caller from Cross Street reported that she was involved in a road rage incident. The caller stated that the subject followed the caller through her neighborhood. The caller tried to miss it by driving around the neighborhood and the caller drove home, the subject showed up and said “I got you!” then he left.
15:47 – A caller from Sacramento Street reported that a man inside the business was yelling expletives.

9:26 a.m. – A caller from Gemini Court reported that he had just arrived home and the back door was open. The person she called was worried someone was at the house. The caller reported that the security pin or fingerprint lock was opened after she left. The person she called was advised to leave the property until police arrived.
12:48 – A caller from Knolls Drive reported that there were two large goats and a dog in the caller’s yard and porch.
15:14 – A caller from Flying T Road reported that he had just arrived home to find his wife lying in a pool of blood. The person he called said that she looked like she had fallen. Subject was unconscious but breathing.
4:39 p.m. – A caller from Allison Ranch Road said there was a subject in the parking lot who had damage to the right front of his vehicle. The caller said the subject told him that police were arresting some women and that he was involved and was waiting for contact. The subject then headed south on Highway 49.
17:14 – A caller from Rattlesnake Road reported that a tree fell and hit their vehicle. There were no injuries, but the tree was on the other side of the road.
18:29 – A caller from Southridge Drive reported receiving a text from his daughter: “Call the police. Someone is fighting upstairs. Sounds like murder. The person she called said the subjects were having a party.
21:23 – A caller from Highway 80 in Soda Springs reported that he had been stuck in traffic for 40 minutes and had places to go.
22:38 – A caller from Darkhorse Drive reported that a distraught woman in her early 20s was at the door asking for a ride.

2:10 a.m. – A caller from Old Tunnel Road reported being robbed. The caller reported that she could not find his pants or his wallet and they were taken while he was sleeping. According to the person he called, she didn’t think they were taken out of necessity, but out of spite.
10:11 a.m. – A caller from Hughes Road reported vehicles in the parking lot with their lights on but the gates locked. The caller did not believe that the doors should be locked during the day.
2:47 p.m. – A caller from Old Tunnel Road just wanted to say thank you. The person he called sounded very intoxicated and she asked dispatch if she wanted to hear the good news. The person he called didn’t say that she was okay, just that she wanted to say thank you.
22:12 – A caller from Olympia Park Road reported that someone had just driven by the drive-thru and told him he had a gun in the car and was drinking and driving.

10:04 a.m. – A caller from Lindley Avenue reported flooding in front of his residence due to a clogged storm drain.
2:32 p.m. – A caller from North Pine Street reported that he had accidentally locked himself out of the building.
Nevada County Sheriff’s Office
10:18 a.m. – A caller from Little Dome Way reported strange and unauthorized vehicles parked on his property. The caller wanted to know if they were part of the search and rescue, and reported that one of the vehicles had a “Search Dog” sticker on it. The caller was upset that no one asked and wanted the vehicles removed. The caller advised on the subjects needed to use his property, they should inform you.
1:15 p.m. – A caller from Round Mountain Ranch Road reported a storm cover stolen, creating a dangerous situation on the road.
3:00 pm – A caller from Old Downieville Highway requested assistance regarding a medium-sized boulder in the road.
16:07 – A caller from Lake Vera reported that a storm drain was clogged and nearly overflowed.
17:12 – A caller from Manzanita Drive reported that a suspicious vehicle stopped in the driveway of an abandoned home and appeared to try to remove a Jeep from the property. The caller said the lights were on and flashing in the Jeep. Someone in the vehicle saw the caller and drove off. The caller requested an area check.
17:39 – A caller from Old Downieville Highway reported that a tree was down and was blocking the road.
18:35 – A caller from Highway 49 reported a piece of guardrail blocking the southbound lane.
19:59 – A caller from Penn Valley Drive reported that his girlfriend hit him over the head with her phone. While the person he was calling was on the line, the girlfriend got into her vehicle and drove away. The caller reported that the woman was heavily intoxicated.

12:10 – A caller from Celesta Drive reported that his daughter’s vehicle had been stolen. The caller reported that her daughter allowed someone to drive the vehicle to the store that morning and did not return.
19:37 – A caller from Jan Road reported that a rabid fox was roaming the neighborhood. Another person she called wanted to know if she was allowed to use a BB gun to take down the fox. The caller was told the information was sent to Animal Control for handling Monday morning.
20:46 – A caller from West McKnight Way reported that a transient male was outside drinking. The caller thought the subject would try to steal a laundry cart if he looked the other way.

15:45 – A caller from Jordan Street reported that the drainage pipe had collapsed and there was now a sump eight to 10 feet below the road.
16:11 – A caller from Monroe Street reported hearing a gunshot and a female scream. The caller said she heard what sounded like a large explosion from possibly next to her.
17:35 – A caller from Broad Street reported that someone was blocking the driveway where he was working.

10:42 a.m. – A caller from Pleasant Valley Road reported erosion on the road that was dangerous and on the edge of a cliff. The caller called State Parks and was told that he was out of their jurisdiction, but they would put up a cone in front of the erosion to help prevent someone from running off the road.
13:58 – A caller from Shadow Pines Drive reported that his ex-girlfriend had just left his residence with her car keys and stole her wallet.
4:45 p.m. – A caller from Floriston Avenue reported that a neighbor had cleared the road and now had a three-foot shoulder in front of her driveway and was unable to leave the residence.
20:05 – A caller from Newtown Road reported hearing gunfire. Nothing more was heard and the shooting continued.
