Basketball takes up much of the local Monday program and includes four of Mountain Home’s high school teams that welcome Marion to the Twin Lakes area. The 8th grade girls game starts at 4, followed by the 8th grade boys and both freshman contests.
The Screamin’ Eagle Junior Invitational will continue at Hillcrest Elementary School in Lynn. The Norfork girls meet Salem at 4. On the boys’ side, Salem takes on Maynard at 5:10, and Mammoth Spring takes on top-seeded Sloan-Hendrix at 7:30.
In another high school basketball, Cotter travels to Kingston, Flippin hosts Bergman, Marshall makes the trip to Jasper, Valley Springs entertains Elkins, and the Harrison boys head to Farmington.
Two area high school boys’ teams will be in Swifton as the Kell Classic continues. Mammoth Spring plays Marmaduke at 5:50, and Melbourne will pair up with the top-seeded Rector at 8:30.
Elsewhere in the high school level, the Bakersfield girls travel to Gainesville, Izard County makes the trip to Lead Hill, Dora is at home against Couch, and Omaha heads to Blue Eye.
