Popular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo may have to go to court after a slew of HOA fines have allegedly piled up due to a housemate’s negligence.
For those who don’t know, HOA stands for Home Owners Association. This association essentially enforces the rules to maintain a given neighborhood. In Mizkif’s case, her house of contents appears to have gotten on the bad side of her HOA, which may end up with Mizkif having to go to court.
Mizkif shared the situation in a recent conversation with Emily ‘Emiru’ Schunk while listening live for the Twitch chat:
“Did you know we get ten things in the mail for HOA? We are getting into a lot of trouble, to the point where I might have to go to court,” Mizkif explained.

“What?” Emiru answered bluntly.
“Yeah, so basically the HOA is fining us every week and we’re having issues with them. And the reason we have problems with them is because we don’t take the garbage home.

“And that’s not my fault, because I bought the house, and I hope one of us brings the trash back. Yeah no my HOA is really embarrassing. Like, you really cringe. If you don’t bring the garbage in two days, they will fine you.”
“I don’t even know what day of the week garbage day is,” Emiru admitted.

The two fell silent, then discussed the specific day of the trash. But shortly after they canceled the silence, Mizkif added: “Make sure that on Tuesday you have to bring the garbage back.”
It is currently unclear if Mizkif will actually take this to court or just pay the accumulated fines and be done with it. One thing is for sure though, someone in your content-creating house needs to start bringing in the trash.
