Kanye West’s former lawyers have cut ties with him in a unique way, turning to newspaper ads.
His former business manager, Thomas St. John, claimed in December that he couldn’t find him for weeks, to file a lawsuit against the “Donda” rapper. He instantly raised concerns that he might be missing.
Persistent claims that Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband was missing were thrown into doubt when he was seen attending a church service earlier this month.
His previous attorneys are now apparently trying to contact the father of four by placing print ads in Los Angeles newspapers in an effort to get him off their client list.
Greenburg Traurig Law Film is using a “multiple approach” to find the controversial rapper, according to court documents acquired by HotNewHipHop.
The documents stated: “Publication of the contents of the Removal Order in two newspapers in the Los Angeles area, where Ye appears to reside, will also inform you of the Removal Order.”
He went on to say that given Kanye’s notoriety, the marketing of the recall order may receive a lot of media coverage, which could increase the chance that the rapper will see the order.
Following his anti-Semitism controversy, the law firm fired the “College Dropout” rapper as a client. He had previously been defended by the company against Ultra International Music Publishing.
Thomas also asked the court for more time this month to find his former business partner so he could file a lawsuit. Kanye West is being sued for $4.5 million in damages, according to the man, who claims the rapper owes him money after suddenly ending their collaboration.

In the lawsuit, Thomas claimed that Kanye had promised to pay him $300,000 a month for his parts, but stopped paying him after three months of his 18-month contract.
However, once speculation about Ye’s location spread, information about his wife surfaced; however, they did not obtain a marriage license. They are devoted to each other, but their union is not enforceable.
According to TMZ, Yeezy designer Bianca Censori was reportedly married to Kanye West.
They were photographed wearing their new rings when they arrived at the Waldorf Astoria last week, with the rapper wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring on his left hand.
The song “Censori Overload,” which Kanye released, is reportedly a dedication to his new leading lady.
After almost seven years of marriage, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce in November.
