FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — According to Fayetteville Police Department Sgt. Anthony Murphy, when a truck struck a power line on College Ave. in Fayetteville, power was knocked out for up to 1,000 customers according to SWEPCO.

The iDriveArkansas map shows stopped traffic along College Ave. where the line fell.

Sources say the wires are now high enough for traffic to flow, with one northbound lane still closed and many residents still experiencing power outages.
