The Santa Barbara County Office of Education will host its first “Education Spotlight,” a series of community conversations on issues affecting the children and youth of Santa Barbara County, on Thursday.
The featured episode will focus on the opioid and fentanyl crisis that has led to rising rates of addiction, intoxication and accidental overdose deaths among adolescents.
The event will take place on Thursday, January 19 from 5-6:30 pm via Zoom Webinar, with interpretations in Spanish, Mixtec, and ASL, and via YouTube Livestream.
