BOSTON (WHDH) – Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) will host the first of several pop-up murals beginning Monday.

During these popups, community members can add two paintings by teens from Artists for Humanity ahead of MLK Day.

The paintings were inspired by the “Embrace” monument, a new statue on Boston Common that is currently under construction.

The monument, which will be unveiled on January 13, symbolizes the embrace that MLK shared with his wife Coretta Scott King after winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
