CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A patchwork of wintry showers continues tonight, eventually ending with some scattered snowfall Thursday morning. The heaviest accumulations continue to be seen throughout the Northwest.

Expect a lull in precipitation in the east-central and southeast area. Snowfall continues in the northwest. This is where you will find the most buildup of 4-8″. Scattered snowfall will rotate back in as the low shifts to the northeast tomorrow morning, just in time for the morning commute.
